Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited
Recently,
Rajasthan
Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. Invited a tender of 25MW for installation,
commissioning, operation & maintenance for five years Rooftop Photovoltaic
plants in Rajasthan. Thanks to RRECL for accommodating to Startups and New Entrepreneurs
in the said tender, it would develop thousands of job opportunities as well as
it would develop large number of entrepreneurs throughout Rajasthan.
Scope
of above work covers Residential, Institutional and Social Sector with 30%
Central Financial Assistance (CFA) but excluding Government Buildings,
Government Institutions and Private Commercial and Industrial Sectors. This 25
MW was divided into three categories, 1st category Established Supplier,
2nd category New Small/ Local Entrepreneurs allocated and 3rd
Startup Firms. The allowed working slab for
Established Supplier and New Small/ Local Entrepreneurs 1-10 KW- slab -
A, 10-50 KW Slab -B and 50KW to 500 KW Slab-C and Startup Firms were limited 1KW to 10 KW slab - A only.

Conclusion
Rajasthan
Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. has given priority to the startups and
allocated 200 KW to each and in total allocated 1600 KW. Priority has also been
given to New Small/ Local Entrepreneurs and allocated 3000 KW. Last priority
was given to the established suppliers 11,800 KW. RREC has set an example by
providing opportunity to Start ups and New Small/ Local Entrepreneurs. Other Government Departments should also
follow and accommodate Start ups and New Small/ Local Entrepreneurs for
developing employment opportunities in the country.
